Consequently, Tesla and Elon Musk have had to intervene periodically to refute some of these claims. Most recently, Elon confirmed on 'X' that Superchargers would remain in place, with Tesla continuing to expand their presence.

Additionally, Tesla plans to allocate upwards of $500 million in 2024 toward establishing new Supercharger locations and expanding existing ones. This financial commitment doesn't even cover operational expenses, which exceed far more than half a billion dollars.

Moreover, Tesla has been reassuring customers via email about concerns regarding the Supercharger network, reaffirming its central role in Tesla's mission.
